st. nicholas day!
Went to the city center to see the Christmas Market Frankfurt style. They had a huge Belen and Christmas tree. The weather was beautiful, no rain, no snow.

There were lots of goodies - candies, popcorn, chocolate, and different types of bread and sausages. I tried the fries. I know.. of all things? There was also lots of beer and groups of men singing together on the street and even on the train stations??

Irma who is from Indonesia was my tour guide. She's also with AIESEC/Pwc. From one side of the Christmas Market, we went to the River Main. Before reaching the bridge, this old style train passed. Great timing.
This is the Main. From here you can see several of the churches in Frankfurt.

The one on the right, i think, is St. Bartolomeus' church. After this, we went back to the center to proceed to Hauptwache and up the top for of Galeria.

*peace* and >hugs<
